Friends and Family of People with Cancer
A group "for women" supporting partners, friends and family of people actively dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Initial appointment required prior to attendance. Fee is $30. For more information, please call The Center's Behavioral Health Services at 619-260-6380. Group meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 5:30pm.
You Are Not Alone Cancer Support Group
The Center offers a support group for lesbian and bisexual women who have had, or currently have, any form of cancer. Women at all stages of treatment are welcome.Initial Appointment required prior to attendance. Support services for men with any kind of cancer diagnosis are available by calling The Center Front Desk (619) 692-2077 X101 or Senior Services (X205). Dr. Allan Brown is available for telephone support and/or appointments for face-to-face meetings.
