Bienestar Human Services, Inc. is a grass-roots, non-profit community service organization established in 1989. The agency's mission states: "Enhancing the health and well-being of the community through education, prevention, and the provision of direct social support services. We are committed to the mobilization and advocacy necessary for immediate and appropriate response to community needs." Bienestar operates seven other centers in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties.

CASA-South Bay, part of San Ysidro Health Center, is located close to the border. The agency offers a family-like atmosphere for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families/companions. Our servic es are provided in English and Spanish. We offer case management, medical care, nutrition specialist, peer advocacy, support groups, prevention services, HIV testing, art therapy group, English classes, yoga, coordinated services and a drop-in center.
