Elmhirst has turned the British couple’s tale of survival into a portrait of a marriage. A true story!!  And we know, truth is stranger than fiction.  A beach read! Well, ocean read.\n\n\nSeptember:  Liberation by Bess Wohl\nThis year’s Pulitzer Prize winning play, nominated for several Tonys.  A woman tells the story of her mother in a consciousness raising group  in the 1970’s and the choices women made then and are still making now.  A thought proving story that asks, “Have we really come a long way, baby”? A play that had successful runs both On and Off-Broadway, a rarity for a woman playwright.\n\n
