How often does volunteer work include dining out?

In response to the recent developments regarding the COVID-19 virus and the recommendation of the CDC guidelines of events, The San Diego LGBT Community Center will be postponing the 14th Annual Dining Out For Life®San Diego.

On this day dozens of participating restaurants, bars, coffeehouses and nightclubs in San Diego will donate a minimum of 25% of sales for The Center’s HIV/AIDS services and prevention programs!

Each year Dining Out for Life® San Diego is a major success thanks to our generous participating restaurants and the dedication of our restaurant Ambassadors. Ambassadors welcome guests to their restaurant, answer questions about Dining Out for Life® San Diego, The Center and the fantastic opportunity drawing (and of course they’re welcome to invite friends and family to dine at their restaurant). Ambassadors also promote their restaurant to their friends, family, coworkers — everyone they know — with the goal of packing the place! Both are great ways to make an incredible impact!

Want to volunteer, but being an Ambassador isn’t your thing? No worries, we need volunteers for our street, data, phone, social network, poster, materials and runner teams too!
