The May selection is: The poetry of Andrea Gibson.
Select any ten or so poems you like from this poet, and we will discuss them at the group meeting. The meanings of the poems to you do not have to be profound or deep, it can be just because you like it, and it sings to you. Or just attend the group and hear others read! Gibson is a poet and activist from Maine whose poetry focuses on LGBTQ+ topics, politics, gender norms, and social reform. They have published seven books, won several poetry slams and is Colorado’s Poet Laureate.

The June selection is: Ten Steps to Nanette by Hannah Gadsby.
