Meeting Poet Suri Chan

Known as @poemsbysuri on Instagram, Suri Chan is a prize-winning poet. She is also an artist and illustrator. She will be here at South Bay Youth Center to talk about her new book, But I Don’t Feel Empowered, and facilitate a discussion afterwards. She will talk about how to use art and writing to process pain, trauma, and experiences. She will also speak about her experience as an artist and writer of LGBTQ+ background.
