FOOD RESOURCES
The Center hosts two food banks per month. Join us for our Neighborhood Food Distribution, typically held the first Tuesday of each month, from 8am-10am. We also host a Senior Food Bank for people 60 and older, typically held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 8am-10am.
Cyber Center
The Center’s Cyber Center computer stations are available to members of our community from 10am-6pm. There is a 1 hour time limit per person, per day. We offer free printing for important documents, like tax documents, resumes, and cover letters, etc. Other printing is available at 10 cents per page.
HIV/HCV and STI Testing
It’s time for self-care with our free, confidential HIV/HCV testing and STI screenings in a compassionate and sex-positive environment with connections to health care and resources. Make your appointment today – call us at 619.692.2077 or email bethegeneration@thecentersd.org to make an appointment. We are open Monday-Friday 10am-7pm by appointment. Walk-ins will be accepted based on availability.
Please note that we do not offer MPOX testing as part of our testing services, please call 211 for testing assistance.
Project Compassion
Project Compassion, every Thursday, 10am-2pm. Stop by The Center for free supportive resources for unhoused and resource-impacted community members. Our team will be onsite to provide items like socks, toiletries, clothes, food and water, as well as case management if needed. Email onduty@thecentersd.org for more information.

The Center’s Library is now open! Get your library card, check out one of the LGBTQ+ books from our vast collection, or get a recommendation from one of our library volunteers!
