The San Diego LGBT Community Center is excited to share our updated Strategic Plan.
In FY27, The Center will prioritize organizational readiness, institutional strength, community engagement, and future growth as part of its annual Strategic Plan. As federal and state landscapes continue to shift, The Center will invest in the systems, partnerships, and infrastructure necessary to remain a trusted resource for LGBTQ+ people while preparing for the organization’s next chapter. Across every department, this work centers on five strategic goals designed to ensure long-term sustainability, deepen relationships with the communities we serve, strengthen our position as a leading San Diego institution, and build the foundation for future growth.
BUILD STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
The Center will strengthen relationships with community partners while expanding outreach and services for historically underserved populations.
OPERATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE
The Center will establish consistent systems, policies, training, and communications processes that improve organizational effectiveness and accountability.
STRENGTHEN POSITION AS THE LEADING SAN DIEGO LGBTQ+ INSTITUTION
The Center will continue building its reputation as one of the region’s most trusted and influential nonprofit organizations.
FISCAL STABILITY
The Center will strengthen its financial foundation by increasing its base of support, maximizing contract and grant performance, improving fiscal oversight, diversifying revenue streams, and enhancing operational efficiency.
PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE
The Center will take the foundational steps necessary to support long-term organizational growth.
