Transgender Day of Empowerment 2026

Join us at The Center for the Annual Trans Day of Empowerment on Friday, April 3, 2026

TDOE is an annual tradition where we celebrate our trans and nonbinary community.

Start the festivities with the TDOE Empowerment March from 3:30pm-4:30pm.  The march begins at the Hillcrest Sign on University/5th Ave. and ends at The San Diego LGBT Community Center, 3909 Centre Street.

Then, join us for the TDOE Program at The Center, from 5-7pm

ASL Interpretration will be provided.

Volunteers Needed

We’re looking for abolitionist community safety volunteers for the Trans Day of Empowerment (TDOE) March on 4/3. The TDOE March will lead us to The LGBT Center, where we will hold the rest of our TDOE event.

Artist Call

Calling all community! We are seeking submissions for this year’s Trans Day of Empowerment. Stand in solidarity with your Trans loved ones in community and submit your works to be part of the gallery. This year’s theme is “Our Time is Now and Forever” and submissions should reflect the integrity of the theme and the event.

Submissions will be accepted both prior to and at the event itself.
