Advanced Health Care Directive – Workshop & Resource Fair

Planning for the unexpected is one of the most important steps you can take to protect yourself and your loved ones. Join us for a community-centered workshop focused on Advanced Health Care Directives, with a resource fair featuring trusted service providers.

This event will include a guided presentation and walkthrough of California’s Advance Health Care Directive form, with support available to help participants begin completing their documents. The workshop is designed with LGBTQ+ individuals and families in mind, addressing unique considerations related to medical decision-making and end-of-life planning.

Led by Rebecca Secord, Estate Planning Attorney and owner of Your Home Legal, who brings over 15 years of legal experience and a strong commitment to serving the LGBTQ+ community. Rebecca will provide an overview of estate planning fundamentals, followed by a step-by-step walkthrough of the Advance Health Care Directive.
