Community Leadership Council

The San Diego LGBTQ+ Community Leadership Council (CLC) was founded in 2003 to create a space for LGBTQ-serving organizations to come together to build relationships and address community issues.

The mission of the San Diego LGBTQ+ Community Leadership Council is to support and enhance the business, political, cultural, and community life of the San Diego LGBTQ+ community, improve the health and well-being of its members, and advance the equality and civil rights of all by providing a stable, effective, and on-going collaborative mechanism through which LGBTQ+ community organizations and their allies can effectively:

  • Exchange information,
  • Coordinate community activities,
  • Collaborate on community projects, and
  • Provide coordinated community leadership.

CLC meetings typically occur on the first Thursday of each month from 5:30pm-7:00pm. If you’d like to attend CLC meetings or be added to the CLC mailing list, please contact David Vance at dvance@thecentersd.org.
