CRISIS SUPPORT SERVICES AT THE CENTER
Crisis Services
Our Crisis Services team offers walk-in, phone, and ongoing support to individuals, couples, and families facing urgent challenges, including housing or food insecurity, health concerns, and life disruptions. Services include crisis intervention, housing assistance, case management, Covered California enrollment, support for people living with HIV, and referrals to The Center and community resources.

- Alcohol and other drug/substance use disorder referrals (inpatient, outpatient, and support groups).
- Free and reduced-fee DMV ID vouchers.
- Advocacy for survivors of IPV/DV.
SUPPORT AND RESOURCES FOR INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/SEXUAL VIOLENCE (IPV/DV/SV)
We have Crisis Services available to help you navigate the legal, medical, and law enforcement processes regareding Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence cases. Our advocate for survivors of intimate partner violence, domestic violence, and sexual violence will walk you through all your options.

Have you been a victim of a hate crime or hate incident, or know someone who has been a victim? Do you know of a hate crime or hate incident that has happened?
What is a Hate Crime
A hate crime is a crime against a person, group, or property motivated by the victim’s real or perceived protected social group. You may be the victim of a hate crime if you have been targeted because of your actual or perceived: (1) disability, (2) gender, (3) nationality, (4) race or ethnicity, (5) religion, (6) sexual orientation, and (7) association with a person or group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics. Hate crimes are serious crimes that may result in imprisonment or jail time.
What is a Hate Incident
A hate incident is an action or behavior motivated by hate but which, for one or more reasons, is not a hate crime. Examples: Name Calling, Insults, Displaying hate material on your property, Posting hate material that does not result in property damage, Distribution of materials with hate messages in public places.
