The Center’s Advocacy and Civic Engagement work includes the 2020 Elections and 2020 Census campaigns with outreach and dedicated and targeted campaigns to our community.
The Center responded to unprecedented community need for housing, food, and mental health support caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Center continued to provide emergency and critical services throughout the pandemic by expanding Crisis Services, Behavioral Health Services, and Housing Services.

The Center held a Town Hall for the Black LGBTQ+ community, which led to new anti-racism policies and initiatives at The Center and the formation of the Black LGBTQ+ Community Advisory Committee. The Center new provides anti-Black racism trainings for staff, board members, donors, and volunteers.
The Center expanded its housing program to an entire housing continuum, including the new Safe STAY program for LGBTQ+ youth.
