Digital Bridge Program January-March 2025
Are you interested in improving your computer skills, learning more about the future of technology, and getting one-on-one basic tech support? This program is for you! Feel free to bring your own smartphones, tablets, or laptops for device-specific questions.
The Digital Bridge Program will take place the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of January, February, and March 2025, from 3 pm to 5 pm. Here are the dates and topics for upcoming sessions:
- January 9, 2025: Online Banking and Shopping; How to Stay Safe Online
- January 25, 2025: QR Codes and Safety
- February 13, 2025: File Management Part 1 (Types of files, file safety, opening, creating, and deleting files.)
- February 27, 2025: File Management Part 2
- March 13, 2025: Assistive Technology (Screen readers, text-to-speech software, magnification, translator and more)
- March 27, 2025: Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The first 30 – 40 min will be dedicated to the topic, and the remaining time will be reserved for Q&A and one-on-one assistance.
Participants can bring their own smart phones, tablets, or laptops if they have specific questions about how to navigate their own devices.
SD Futures Foundation plans to bring a few laptops for participants to use.
