Miss Major Celebration of Life and Movie Screening

You are invited to a Celebration of Life of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy (1940-2025), hosted by Tracie Jada O’Brien (she/her). We will celebrate Miss Major’s impact on our community and share stories of her leadership and resilience.  The Celebration of Life will be followed by a screening of MAJOR! This powerful documentary follows the life and campaigns of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, a trailblazing Black trans activist who paved the way for generations of transgender women of color.  Hosted by Black Services and Project TRANS at The Center
