Come and watch Rustin starring Colman Domingo with some popcorn and join us for a discussion after the movie!
Activist Bayard Rustin faces racism and homophobia as he helps change the course of Civil Rights history by orchestrating the 1963 March on Washington.Colman Domingo has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor in his portrayal of Bayard Rustin, a queer civil rights activist. Domingo is the first out Black LGBTQ+ person nominated for Best Actor and only the second gay man to earn a nomination for playing a gay character. February is Black History Month, and we invite you to join us to be inspired by the story of Bayard Rustin.
