Open Call: Walk the Runway
We are inviting community members, artists, organizers, performers, and fashion disruptors to walk the runway in one of three themed categories. No professional runway experience required. All you need is commitment, creativity, and confidence.
Runway Categories:
- Eat the Rich
Grotesque opulence, aristocratic excess, and revolutionary resistance collide. Serve powdered wigs, fake diamonds, corsets, and excess, or embody labor organizers, liberation movements, and people who have had enough. This category explores obscene wealth and the forces rising against it. Provocation encouraged. - AI Apocalypse
Cyberpunk meets political commentary. Come as robots, androids, glitching systems, or humans navigating a tech‑driven future that leaves people behind. This category interrogates automation, AI‑driven displacement, and resistance in an algorithmic world. - We Shall Over‑Accessorize
Because resistance has always had a dress code. This is for maximalists who believe more is more. Stack, layer, drape, and bedazzle until every piece tells a story. Fashion as biography. Commitment to excess required.
