Hector was one of the many community members who called The Center looking for help in finding an MPOX vaccine at the height of the MPOX outbreak.

The Center’s Welcome Services team helped to connect Hector to the County’s text update system soon after it was launched. He was able to get an MPOX vaccination soon after a text alerted him that doses were available.

The Center helped Hector get his second dose of the MPOX vaccine as well, once the County began administering second doses.  Hector was thankful for the support from The Center.
