Dear Center Community,

Due to unexpected required maintenance, The Center’s main building at 3909 Centre Street will be closed on Monday, March 25 and Tuesday, March 26. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this unexpected closure. Our other locations will be fully operational.

During this time, you can reach Center staff members by calling our main number at 619-692-2077 for any needs that can be handled over the phone. If you had an appointment scheduled at The Center’s main building, we will reach out to you to determine if we can meet with you virtually or if we need to reschedule. For any in-person group meetings, we will reach out to group facilitators to determine if those meetings can take place virtually.

Please note that during this time, The Center Library and Cyber Center will be closed, and Grey Matters Movement and Music for seniors will be canceled.

We expect to be back to our usual open hours (10am-8pm) on Wednesday, March 27.

March 23, 2024 Update:  Due to our temporary closure, The Center’s Board of Directors will meet virtually. During this time, public comment submited via email at feedback@thecentersd.org will be shared with the Board.

March 24, 2024 Update: 

• Feeling Fit will move to Zoom on Monday, March 25.
• Game Day for Seniors will be canceled on Tuesday, March 26. 

• The Center Library will remain closed this week.
• Senior Drop-In on Thursday, March 28, will move outside to the front patio.
• Las Manzanitas Group meeting on Wednesday, March 27, is canceled.
