HIV & STI Testing Available Weekdays and Saturdays by Appointment
As Pride weekend ends, I want to encourage each one of our community members to prioritize your health through HIV and STI testing.
Each year, The Center supports tens of thousands of LGBTQ+ people across the region with housing, health, mental health, and community-based services. Our work centers those most impacted by system inequities–LGBTQ+ youth, transgender and nonbinary people, immigrants, people living with HIV, seniors, and LGBTQ+ people of color–and focuses on long-term stability.
We deliver evidence-informed culturally responsive services that help individuals move from crisis to stability, and from isolation to connection.

As Pride weekend ends, I want to encourage each one of our community members to prioritize your health through HIV and STI testing.

Wishing you a happy Nonbinary People’s Day, and sharing some exciting wins for our LGBTQ+ community in the California state budget!

I am honored to announce that we are accepting nominations for our 2026 LGBTQ+ Community Wall of Honor, which are due by July 31.

As we observe National Pride Month in both the United States and Mexico, I am excited to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between The Center and the Mexican Consulate in San Diego, a milestone that reflects the power of collaboration and cross-culture care.

I’m excited to invite you to our Young Professionals Council (YPC) Academy graduation, taking place on Tuesday, June 30 at Mujeres Brew House!

Exciting updates about Black Services and an invitation to a special Juneteenth event happening at The Center.
