From social events to discussion groups, The Center has a wide variety of programming for men – all virtual now during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Join one of our discussion groups for those looking for social opportunities, our support groups for various groups, or if you are interested in volunteering or need services, The Center has something for you.

Discussion Groups

A group for all GBT individuals and a place for support and encouragement from men who are experiencing, or have experienced,  the same health issue. Also for those men interested in knowing more about Prostate Cancer, getting assistance on fighting it, or how to prevent it.
2nd and 4th Tuesdays, 6:30pm

Activity, discussion and social group, to connect, socialize, play games, network and make friends. The group addresses relationships, sexual health, activism, community building and more.
2nd & 4th Tuesday monthly, 7-8:30pm

Heal Thy Soul

Every Wednesday:  12:00pm (noon) – 1:30pm

*All meetings will take place online. 

A peer-led empowerment group for Black men (MSM). Topics with speakers include: living with HIV, normalization about sex, community mobilizing, dating, spiritual awareness, self healing, and much more. Meetings take place every Wednesday from 12-1:30pm. For more information on the group, please contact Carolina Ramos at cramos@thecentersd.org.

Games and Grub is on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Everyone is welcome to The Center on the first Wednesday evening of each month for Games and Grub! The popular board game and social night, presented by Men @ The Center, includes pizza, snacks, beer, wine, soft drinks, and hundreds of board games to choose from. Participants are welcome to come alone and meet new friends, or come with a group for a fun evening out. The popular Team Trivia game begins at 6:30 pm and everyone is welcome to drop in. Men’s Coming Out Discussion Group

1st and 3rd Thursday of every month

This group provides a space for straight, gay, bi, trans, and questioning men of all ages to share their experiences with any stage of the life-long coming out and being out process. We provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive place to meet others who may be going through a similar transition, or who have already come out.

The Bi-Pan-Fluid discussion group is open to all sexes and genders, and is a safe place to explore and discuss what is happening in your life. Our experiences are unique but similar, and this group is a safe and inclusive place for us to come together to support each other, and to talk about our feelings, our identities, and our relationships.
