Cecilia Chung (she/her) is a civil rights leader and activist for LGBTQ+ rights, HIV/AIDS awareness, health advocacy, and social justice. Trans(Gender) 101
Join Project TRANS and Training Institute at The Center for the Trans(Gender) 101 Training on March 23, from 6-7pm at The Center Auditorium. Attendees can expect to leave the training with greater knowledge in gender identity and nonbinary identities, pronouns, gender-inclusive language, transitioning (social, legal, medical), and support. Join Project TRANS at The Center for two empowering career sessions designed to support your job search journey. Attend our daytime session on March 25 at 12:00 PM or our evening session on March 30 at 6:00 PM to gain practical tips on strengthening your resume, crafting compelling cover letters, and building confidence as you navigate the job market.

Trans Day of Visibility 2026
Come join us on March 31st for Trans Day of Visibility. The Gender Advocacy Project at North County LGBTQ Resource Center is holding its 2nd Annual Nourish Our Power Rally. There will be food, activities, drag performances, and the rally for trans rights and visibility. We are asking all trans or gender diverse people and their allies to make a showing in front of Oceanside City Hall and let them know that our community is united.

Trans Day of Empowerment
This annual event is held to support and uplift the trans community in their journey through education. This scholarship event seeks to empower our very own San Diego Trans community through impactful speakers, Powerful performances, and an intentional community gathering, lead by community advocate and trans elder Tracie Jada O’Brien with support from the larger trans community.
